Hi all, You can now go to the gradebook and see your grades for Unit 1 and the mid-semster grade. A couple of things to keep in mind:
  1. If you handed in Unit 1 and do not have a grade, please check your post and see what is going on. Most likely I need access to your document and permission to edit so that I can put feedback in it. I won’t grade it until I can do that.
  2. If I asked you to do re-do your assignment then, for now, you got a BL (Borderline) for your mid-semester grade. Don’t panic–I just don’t have another high stakes assignment to go on for judging your standing in the class.
  3. If you have not been doing your posts, this is impacting your grade enormously. Even students who got a C on the essay but have been doing their posts are doing significantly higher than a C in the class
Super Important Note: Those of you who did not hand in Unit 1 and have not spoken with me about it, please be in touch with me immediately. Finally, if you have questions, be in touch via email. I’ll see you all on Thursday to work with the second half of Antigone. And in the meantime, remember you have a post due by the end of tomorrow–see the Agenda for this week. This post is work for Unit 2 so please do not fall behind. Doing the work in pieces like this makes it easier and better.
