I’ve been informed that your name can have a huge impact on Job searching. Name discrimination has been a vast problem from people (specifically people of color) to find a job. Due to the fact people of color tend to choose unique names, this ends up having an impact on the child’s life in the future. In fact, not only do people of color suffer from this impact, but more specifically FEMALES of color. According to abc.net.au “Name discrimination can make finding a job harder, but is changing to a pseudonym the answer?” It is proven that females that have names that sound indigenous or CV are less likely to lead to an interview or a job. Thus making this process frustrating, irritating, and disturbing.

This is a really interesting topic. I might begin with looking up –in what ways do names connect to discrimination? how does name discrimination work? and , how can name discrimination be prevented? See what comes up, read around to learn a bit about the subject and then see what questions you still have.
