The topic I am focusing on is competition and the main focus is to let kids know we all go through competition in our entire lives.

While researching i learned some of the earliest forms of competition and some of the laters forms.  The earlier forms are spelling bees,  math bess and fairs.  This is all to prepare us for the real world.  We compete against each other and learn how it feels to win and lose and when we get older and become employed under a company we also have to compete.  Companies that sell similar items compete with each other all the time on prices and sales.

I want to argue with the people who believe that we shouldn’t be forced to compete against each other.  I want to because if we normalize the fact that we all do it and we win some and we lose some and learn from it.  Learning from competing is one of the most overlooked things in this world.  This is because no one likes to lose but sometimes losers can become winners.

Three questions I still have are what do people compete for when they have everything.  How does competing affect the world positive/negative and how do the higher companies manage to keep their rankings.
