For Monday, 9/19 (asynchronous, work due on our class site by 11:59 pm)

  • Work on your own “shitty first draft”! Review the essay planning worksheet from class today. If you were not in class, you can download the Unit 1 Planning Worksheet.
    • Note that the worksheet is not helping you create content for your essay. Instead, it is meant to help you think about purpose, tone, and the details you will include in your education narrative.
  • Once you have reviewed your work from class, draft your education narrative.
  • Write a post that includes a link to the google doc of your Unit 1 draft.
  • Before publishing your post, make sure you do the following:
    • Title it “Unit 1 Draft”
    • Pick the category “Unit 1 Work”
    • Then publish the post
