Fall 2016 Reflection

Have you completed all your work (for the Fall 2016 semester) with your clients and closed all loops?

I am glad to say I have completed all my client work for this semester and have closed all loops.

Are you happy with your results with the work you completed this semester? What was your favorite project you got a chance to work on this semester?

I am very happy with the work I did this semester, mostly because the projects I got to work on this semester were so fun. I do have a favorite, however, and it’s the Science Fiction Symposium poster. It was so much fun to develop that project, to learn more about the source material more, and I really enjoyed improving my illustration skills.

How are you going to prepare for next semester during the Holiday Break?

Fortunately I will be returning next semester, so I’m preparing by resting and starting to think about the Nucleus design. I need to “plus it up” as prof. Davis says.

Have you completed all your work (for the Fall 2016 semester) with your clients and closed all loops?

Yes, I’ve completed everything but my client for the Newsletter wrote me an email with a request to add one more submission for a faculty member. It wont be too much work to fix.

Are you happy with your results with the work you completed this semester? What was your favorite project you got a chance to work on this semester?

I’m pretty happy with the work I did this semester. My favorite things were the Black Solidarity poster and the New Faculty Welcome card (there’s just something about that red Cardinal that just makes me smile).

How are you going to prepare for next semester during the Holiday Break? If you are departing from the team, let us know your plans for 2017.

Wow, I cant believe I’m finally done with school. I’m gonna miss all my classmates and my FC family. My plans are to continue to work as much as I can while growing and building my life with my wife Rose. I hope to get a job in the design field as well. I’m not sure when I’ll start applying to jobs however. Overall, this semester was great and memorable, the Christmas party was AWESOME!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL!

  • Have you completed all your work (for the Fall 2016 semester) with your clients and closed all loops?
Yes! I have complete majority of the work I set of to accomplish this semester including the projects with First Year Programs, Gender and Sexuality Studies, and the English Dept. I am glad to know that I will be continuing my stay at City Tech as a graduate working with First Year Programs to complete The Companion. I can’t wait to start working on the book. I am aiming for first year students to pay more attention to these books and use them throughout their school years at City Tech. All I need to do is send some holiday wishes.
  • Are you happy with your results with the work you completed this semester? What was your favorite project you got a chance to work on this semester?
I definitely enjoyed all the projects I got to work on this semester. I enjoy working on projects that help professors send awareness about their classes and programs. I am also really looking forward to working on The Companion next semester.

Have you completed all your work (for the Fall 2016 semester) with your clients and closed all loops?

I have completed most of my projects this semester, with Honor Scholar Program, WAC and Sponsored Programs. I will be working into next semester with Atrium Learning Center, Wellness for Women of Color and Literature Art Festival with William.

Are you happy with your results with the work you completed this semester? What was your favorite project you got a chance to work on this semester

I am satisfied with the results of the work I completed this semester. My favorite projects is the Wellness for Women of Color and the Holiday Breakfast invitation because there is room for creativity, less formatting from previous semester.

I will be working on some self branding such as a website and I will be preparing for my senior project for the next semester. Getting down the name and the brand for my Chinese Skin Care line down and what kind of products would my company sell, who would be my target audience. Doing some visual research to keep my mind going for creativities.
