See, during my freshman yer of college knows kind of slacking off all around. In my first semester I was doing great, all of my time was focused on school then school work. But my second semester was something completely different. I landed a job at a tea shop that began to take up lots of my time. I would go to school and then head to work and not get home until 11pm or even midnight some days. I found myself with barely any time to do my work, study or rest. I recall thinking “I need to focus on school” because I really wanted to succeed. Even when I did try harder I kept telling myself I could do better. I still don’t know why until this day. I wasn’t a horrible student but I just felt so much pressure to be successful from everyone around me; from my family to my current fiancĂ©.
Before discussing what needs to be done in order to achieve your goals efficiently, you should take the time to understand all the aspects of being a Police Officer. I do not regret this job but there are a features of this job that should be realized, the pros and the cons. What I would recommend you to do is to acquire a relationship with a retired or current Police Officer from Christ Tabernacle. You are surrounded by very good men at church and you should take the time to meet them and allow them to be a mentor for you as you are becoming a young man quickly. Think back to the death of Police Officer Ramos in December of 2014. If you can remember it was very difficult on his family and members of the church. By having a mentor, it will allow you to ask all the question you may have. For example how do Police Officers separate some of their personal issues from their job ? How do they deal with the death of a fellow Police Officer ? You should even find out how to manage yourself when others are not cooperating with your requests. Being a Police Officer is a difficult job, there is a lot that is unseen and unnoticed. Understanding as much as you can now will allow you to do your job well later on.
The first thing you need to pay attention is Education. In other words, college is what you need because it will help you become a League of Legend player. Some colleges have this program called NACC, NACC is a program where it gives college students an opportunity to qualify for North American Collegiate Championships. Not all colleges have the Program NACC, mostly the good colleges. To get into a good college, you will need to study hard and get a good GPA so you can get in or transfer into one. After you get into a good college, you will get that opportunity to become an Esport player and it will guide you to success.
First thing is first, before even starting your career or pursuing what you want to do you have to focus on your education, without it unless you’re not making it unless you’re filthy rich. Being a game designer isn’t easy, any profession is not easy, a game designer takes a lot of patience with computers, deadlines, and obviously the team you’ll be working with. During a deadline some companies set up deadlines that are called “sprints” where everyone has to work fast and efficient a week before the deadline, being a game designer takes precision and consideration to others, the stress is probably getting to them so lets be patient with them. It’s not like before where games were a bit less complicated, now gamers worry about graphic, story detail, and a good music score, and I agree I look for this details as well and I love in depth stories too.
First of all, time is key to build myself for the future. The more time I spend doing my work the better I will get it done. I remember what inspired me to manage my time during the first semester, Malcolm Gladwell’s theory of 10,000 hours in his book Outliers. According to Gladwell, it takes roughly ten thousand hours of practice to achieve mastery in a field. Therefore, instead of doing everything random making a plan is essential to start managing my time. A lot of frustration is usually the result of poor time management. So I got it create a schedule that indicates on a term when exams, reports, essays and free time are due. This is productive, because I wake up at 7am and go to sleep around 1:30am which mean I spend a lot of time awake. However, half of this time is wasted using the social media and sometimes doing nothing or complaining of feeling tired. In reference to thinking in writing, “I choose to satisfy people with my time”. I choose this thought, because is not a matter of self discipline for me in order to be fair. Therefore, this though reminds me to avoid all interruptions. Thus, observing my results of this semester of getting the tasks done on time is the goal.
What helped me become such a successful actress are all the struggles I had when I was younger. I remember when I first started college I was 21 years old and I worked as a cashier at Wendyâs , oh how I loathed that job so much. At that time I was pursuing to become a certified nursing assistant, it took me two months to get where I wanted but I finally got it. When I was younger all I ever wanted to be was an actress and now that Iâm where I want to be I sometimes regret my choices in life. Itâs not all itâs cracked up to be; I am a hard worker without a doubt. Sometimes I wonder if I wouldâve stayed in college and got my degrees would I have been more fulfilled. I was pretty ignorant as a teenager; I did pursue to become a CNA but I always looked at that career as mediocre something that people with no education or foreigners with no papers were better for. The irony in it is that when I did finally become a CNA I hated it but as soon as I left I kind of missed it. I guessed I shouldnât have been so quick to judge, I just always saw myself as someone who could actually get out and not be labeled a HHA or a CNA.
One thing that I changed was the way I was eating. I was eating a lot of fast food (Burger King, pizza, Chinese food, McDonald’s, etc.) and it was really affecting me in many ways. One way that it was affecting me was by not giving me any energy to do anything. I felt tired all the time and very lazy. Another thing was that I put on a lot of weight, about 20-30 pounds. Lastly, the more I ate the hungrier I would get and all I would find myself thinking about was what I would be eating next. When I started eating healthier, my appetite closed on me. Food gave me more energy and I would wake up when my alarm went off, not remain asleep. I would be more focused in my classes and I had the energy to do homework. I felt more awake in my everyday life activities which is important because that brings me to my next point, being prepared.
Come on man by this time you should already know that one of the most important things you have to do during your college years is sleep. Sleeping good amount of hours so you don’t have to follow sleep in class. Right now in the 2020, sleep is something I Barely get because I have to work more hours to get the money I want instead of working less hours for the same amount of money. Sleeping a good amount of hours is one of the task I want you to understand and accomplish. Remember the book John Medinas brain rules and the chapter about sleep, well of course you do you’re still reading, well I want you to read the chapter all over again and really understand it, you know that lack of sleep can cause less use of the brain and you’ll end up sleeping in a class again. I am going to give you some steps on how to improve your sleeping schedule. First try to spend less time concentrating on unnecessary things and more time on the importance, like homework but you’re read about that later on during this letter. Also try to label what to do daily always focus on the importance tasks first then on the so what important and if you have time on the least important and last but not least put an alarm not to wake you up but to tell you to go to sleep and of course one to wake you up.
Now, I know you’re pretty excited to hear about your future, but we need to focus on a couple of things first. One thing you’ve always had trouble with was arriving on time or early to anything. Whether, it’s school, an event, meetings or even an audition. You need to focus on arriving promptly, because being late does not bode well, especially with your career. Being late can cause serious damage in acting. Not only time is money, literally, but no one wants to work with a person who thinks that his/her time if more special than others. Even if you don’t think your time is more important, that is how it will be perceived to colleagues. In other words, production would not take you serious and that annual income you love so much will drop tremendously. In all actuality, if you don’t change, you would never reach an income to make a living off of. Even though, your father has been telling you this since god knows when. It is your responsibility to begin now and get this act of being late removed. It was very hard to break at first but your career is far more important!
One thing I want to improve is the way I manage my time, I want to do this more efficiently. The way I intend to do this, is to be more conscious of how much time I usually spend on daily tasks, like getting ready in the morning, having breakfast, and doing homework. I have the tendency to underestimate how much time it actually takes to do something, by getting more aware of how much time I spend on these tasks, especially those when I only have a certain amount of time to complete it, and from there it would be easier to plan my day and make a schedule. I think that making a schedule would be very helpful for me, I am not good at managing my time. I often end up late, because of poor planning and time management. I also have the tendency to stay up way later than I should have, which causes me to get less sleep than I should have. After reading the sleep chapter in John Medinaâs Brain Rules, I know how important sleep is. Lack of sleep can affect my memory, attention, mood, and logical reasoning, which is really bad because I want my memory to be working at full capacity in order to do well in school. Showing just how importance sleep is for the brain to function properly, in a particular study, as little as a 26 minute nap increased NASA pilotsâ performance by 34 percent. This was a very interesting chapter to read, and it made me realize that I need to make a schedule in order to get the most out of my days.
Project 1, Part 3, Road Map Paragraph 1 (DRAFT)
Present self, since you were a young child you always had positive thoughts about what you would like your future to be. As I remember, one of those thoughts was âWhere you would like your office to be after you are through with school?â Present self, I must say that I am so proud of you for having such a terrific thought towards our successful future. I say this because now that I am here in the future, I have realized that there are much potential as an architect, and you could work for any architectural firms or become even your own boss and dominate architectural industry, once you can master all the software that requires to get the job done in a professional manner. Present self, this is what I need you to do. Knowing that you are pursuing Architecture Technology at City Tech College, and you are in your third semester. This means that within the next two to three years you will have your Bachelor Degree, so please make every effort to pay keen attention to the remainder of your courses, especially your major courses, such as, your design classes, building tech classes, site planning classes, structure classes, etc. Present self, the classes that mention above are very essential towards our brighter future. In addition, try to master the software, such as, Auto Cad, Rhino, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Revit and all the other software that I did not mention but will be an asset to your successes. Also, please make as much notes and videos to keep has future references. Moreover, instead of you working at the nursing agency, Partners In Care, try to get a part-time job at an architecture firm as a drafter/designer. The experience you will acquire there will be useful when you are transitioning from City Tech College to NYU to attain your Masters, and to where I am now and beyond.
First, the thing that you need to fulfill your dreams and become a successful person is education. This is why you need to take all the work you do in college very serious because when I was a freshman taking his first semester at his college I had fool around in the beginning and almost fail which could have caused me to be in trouble. In addition to that, college had also help me improve the skills that I lack which was working with others and help me become more responsible. However, I feel that I still need to become more responsible since I am responsible for the small things. Another thing that will help you fulfill your dream getting rid of the negative distractions that appear on the road that you take because doing so will help you even more to become the person that you want to be. Once you have the determination for the job that you want, you will be able to live the life that you want. The determination will help you focus on the main points of your college work and help you get your job.
Education is the key to success and the bridge to the future. How you perform now is going to decide your future. I have always been pushed to read harder. I always used to worry about the fact that I was In the land of opportunity and what if I donât grab that opportunity and what if I fail to succeed. But donât worry because I am doing well, finally I am in the place where I donât fear of failing because failing Is the process of learning. No one is perfect and without failing we cannot succeed. The road was not easy but I managed to go pass through all the difficulties and I am going to tell you how I did it. The thing that always caught my mind was getting better grades. As Nelson Mandela said “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Try to get most of it and always believe you can and you are halfway there. Creativity and better education is everything here in 2020. I suggest you to focus more on your college rather then playing PlayStation and watching movies. Better off start thinking about future do not just worry about what is going to happen next.

First of all, sometimes I look back to my past and reflect about the many obstacles that Iâve encountered in my life such as overcoming my lack of concentration, trying to not procrastinate, and being more responsible with myself and my daily activities. If I were able to talk to my past self, I would probably say to him, âHey, look you will have a better future if you can concentrate more in your responsibilities rather than worry about them, just think about solutions and remember what my mentor used to say think 10% about the problem and 90% about the solution, and I know you always worry about your projects and homeworks. However, you donât complete them on time. Also, stop watching youtube videos for several hours, and I know you like to watch anime and sometimes watch some educational documentaries. In addition, you are always worry to make decisions and sometimes you think deeply about taking the next step, at the extent, that you have think about 5 times in order to take ore not that step. Furthermore, you procrastinate a lot and that is one of your major problems since we were kids, for example, you literally wait until the last second in order to do any kind of homeworks or assignments like that time you did a presentation in power point just 3 hours before the class starts or that time when you did your essay like 1 hour before the class begins, and I can give you more examples, however, reflect about that problem. Finally, I have to tell you that it is fine to worry about the future in general because you canât control it entirely, just partially, however, keep in mind you have to work hard for the future you desire, and follow the next advices I am going to give you.

I remember that day when all I could think about was being happily married to my best friend and till this day I still feel that way. I was looking forward to the thrills and blissful mornings that come with marrige. In the mist of all of that I never thought about the long term to the extent that I had a road map for the future ahead with my husband. You cant live in NYC and pay rent with love alone certain moves have to be made in order to live a comfortable lifestyle. Zahirah you really need to assess your life and take control of your future to put things into order and perspective. You can’t expect to marry someone and still live at home with mom & Dad it’s not just you anymore. Nothing in life comes to you easily especially if it’s worth the fight trials & tribulations. I’ve always had my mom and dad backing me up and I still do now but it’s different because I’ll need to be that wife that can stand on her own and show the same strength i see in my mom everyday. Zahirah im telling you from experience marrige is a beautiful thing but it’s also a lot of work. As long as you have people in your corner that love you you’ll be just fine.

Sometimes looking where my mind was when I was in my early teenage years, I realize that I did so many mistakes and wasted my time on wrong jobs, with wrong people⊠Timing is very awkward thing. Once it can help you to recover through problems, sometimes its limitation can cause you stress, sometimes the timing is just not right.
I wish to have time-machine, even thought I heard many times that its my life experience and I should get the best out of it. Time managing right now will probably be my main goal. Right time management. I need to pay more attention on my sleeping habits because the affect my mood, productivity and health in general.
Need to create extra time for physical activities and meetings with friends. Time for extra reading and exploring new things.
