This is some of the work that I did for 3rd Lounge Inc. The first image is the initial sketch and then the vector version. I don’y have any of the animated version of the vector charters. I wasn’t allowed to take them from the studio.

The two apps that I downloaded and used are Flipboard and Color Schemer.

Color Schemer is a app that lets the user share their own color schemes and use other peoples color scheme ideas. I usually use if I need ideas for a color palette. The app lets the user have access to color schemes quickly. It is very easy to navigate and user friendly. I don’t like that it’s only for apple products. I wasn’t able to download it for my phone but I able to get it for my ipod. I think a great feature is that I can upload a photo and pick a color scheme from my photo. The overall design of the is appealing. I used similar app and the design was very bland. It made the app less attractive.

I don’t really read the news or surf the web on my phone. If you do Flipboard is an app that places all the webpages that a user would go to on a daily basis. It can also be used on a computer within the browser. I think its useful for to see all the heads lines in one spot instead of click on each link to see whats new. I like that the user can choose genres and topics that is of interest and Flipboard will base suggestions on what the user has picked. I feel that Flipboard is more use full on a phone or tablet then on a computer or laptop.
