The Syllabus
Session Objectives:
- To identify and discuss the components of a syllabus
- To make a connection between college resources and information presented in a syllabus
- To discuss the role of your teacher in the learning process
- To discuss what academic integrity is, why it is important in academia, and what it means to each student
- To develop questions pertaining to the information presented on the syllabus
To Do Before Class:
- Ask “good” questions (review your notes from Session 3)
- Now that you are midway through the workshop, what questions do you have about becoming a college student? Ask four questions here.
- On Tuesday, class will be asynchronous from 4:00-4:30pm
- This means you will not sign into the Zoom classroom until 4:30pm
- Please use the 30 minutes to complete the Asynchronous Activity for Session 5
