  1. The syllabus is a tool students can use to understand what is expected in this class. For City Tech 101 we’ll be learning more about our school such as the resources given to us, campus tour, knowing more about majors, how to operate cunyfirst, blackboard, etc. The workshop basically makes the transition from high school to college less stressful.

  2. The Syllabus of 101 shows how students will be helped when transitioning to city tech and how they will learn to adapt and how we have tools to help us throughout our first year

  4. Syllabus MAT 1190, tells me to have access to two text books and a scientific calculator that would be used throughout the course. I wouldn’t be able to have more then 2-3 lates and won’t be able to have 2 absent. It gives me a layout of what I would be doing within the books and the type of work I would be expect to complete.

Students will learn to adapt with the hep of advisors and professors and more and more resources that will begin to take the advantage of for the betterment of their lives and careers. The syllabus informs students of the tools and people around them who are there to help them succeed
