Hands

It was very cool that we already had the same idea before the break session. We wanted to create contrast and also capturing the motion of our hand. Using the dark background really compliments with the idea.

Hands

My partner (right) was Jessenia and I chose her hand position/gesture because I liked how her hand and fingers seem to be so relaxed and freely/easily formed. For me, to recreate this look, it actually took me a few tries and I had to keep looking back at the original picture to see how my own hand and fingers had to be. I noticed how my ring finger can’t easily bend the way hers did so it does look more crooked. I tried to think of the position as having to hold something that’s small, which hopefully, resulted in a more gentle feeling.
