Lab Exercise 10 – Light Direction

  • Directional Diffused Light – Front
  • Directional Diffused Light – Side

  • Direct Diffused Light – Front
  • Direct Diffused Light – Side
  • Direct Diffused Light – Back
The main difference between Directionally Diffused light and Direct light is the amount of contrast between the lights and shadows of an object. The greater the light, the more contrast.

    Direct and diffused light are opposites.
    Direct light creates strong shadows.
    Diffused light creates soft shadows.
