Hi everyone! My name is Monica Chan. I’m a Radiological Science – General Concentration student. After 6 years, I’m finally ready to finish this task. During that time period, I transitioned from working as a X-ray Technologist to MRI Technologist. I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to explore a new and challenging modality. And finally feel confident enough to finish my goals to graduate next year.
The picture was taken on my first trip to Europe with my sister and a few friends. It reminded me of the excitement I felt to be visiting Prague, Vienna, and Budapest. Wintertime was magical in these beautiful and charming cities with enriching history. Spending time with new and old friends and getting lost in new cities was what made the trip more enjoyable. I hope to travel more after graduation and when the Covid-19 pandemic is finally over.
That’s such a great photo! I hope we all get a chance to travel again one day. I think your move to MRI is a great one — the field of radiology changes all the time, even if it’s by tiny stages, so that’s a very smart move. Good luck with it!
