After listening to this podcast about Louise Erdric’s book, I was surprised at the stories she told. The stories she told were interesting and good to know. The way her family keeps their old traditional habits going along to the new generations shows how connected and loved her family was. Even though her book was fiction, the events she told were true which makes the book interesting to read. I liked the interview because it’s about true events. I think the interviewer, Dave Davies did a good job because as she was explaining her story he always makes sure she clarifies for those who don’t know. He wasn’t interrupting her, rather he was making sure the listeners fully understood the information given.
