Wow. The graphics were like I was in 1st grade drawn by a 1st grader. My favorite part was swabbing the mouth. Let’s just say…this I’m positive game…made me negative. It wasn’t a game, and it made me feel stupid for catching HIV. Will my brothers computer catch HIV now? My family is now mad at me for doing it with them and wasting their time.
I terribly confused by this response? What exactly do you mean by the questions you’ve posed? And why is it that your family is now angry? Not clear as to how a computer ‘catches’ HIV…please elaborate so that I might help.
Im having trouble opening the game after downloading it to my laptop …
Error reads…
“There should be ‘I’m Positive_Data’
folder next to the executable”
Hi Taurey-
Be sure to extract the folder first via “Extract All” option and check the box that says “show new folder”, from the new folder you will be able to open the ImPositive.exe file to run…let me know if that helps.
Getting pass the basketball was the hardest part of me, then the phone ringing tell Tim he has been exposed to HIV. It made me think about answering my phone, the game really made me think about how careless one can be. Especially over the years. you should get tested a lease once in their life time.
The game was really informative and felt almost life-like. Despite the low quality graphics, it was very intuitive and had great music to match the mood.
well, it’s really such a good idea for this encouraging event from CDC to put out there in order to educate those who don’t believe in such a broken heart disease, which is HIV/AIDS. This video shows that the important of getting tested at least once, probably a year wouldn’t do any harm to, specially between the ages 13 and 64 old. It also shows the use of a condom is needed always to prevent the spread of such disease. In the film as a young man, Tim’s dream is to become a professional basketball, working hard to make it happen some day. However, when his ex-girlfriend, Rebecca, called him to tell him that she has HIV positive, the world seems to be that moment upside-down, his life is gonna change forever until the end because he knows he didn’t protect himself while he was with Rebecca. Therefore, he has HIV positive, too. That’s really sad!
In my opinion, the moral lesson in this event is very educative in terms of reaching out to those young people 13 and up, including me to get tested as soon as possible for our own good, and for the sake of others in order to dramatically reduce the likelihood of transmission.
the video is very educating and the most effective way to handle HIV/AIDS. it throws more light on how to get tested and ways to reduce the menace of the illness. what i learnt was that HID/AIDS can is a universal disease can happen to anyone at any age therefore it is better to get tested and know your status.
