The first picture is my final pencil sketch and the second picture is the black and white version of the same picture that will be used for Photoshop. I’m on the process of making the process book, but I still don’t know how to do the whole different shadings of the same color thing. I think it would be best if I get a visual representation of what to do with Photoshop. I learn things faster if someone shows me pictures or a video on it.
My article was basically about a cat whos owner dressed him in fashionable japanese style clothes while they eat dinner together. The Japanese owner also gave their cat an instagram page, which has more than 89,000 followers. The pictures are all of the cat sitting infront of Japanese dishes.
When i first started brainstorming i thought about the cat, he’s calm and collective. He’s different you don’t really hear about too many cats willing to sit still and pose for the camera, lets not forget have an instagram with plenty followers. i wanted to portray something different or representation of cool.

This editorial talks about the silly ways you could land yourself a permanent spot in the sex offender’s list. And for my drawings I tried to maintain the silly aspect of such a serious situation.
