Why did you choose this poster to discuss?
I chose this poster to discuss because the design is very simple, and the letter “C” is in the middle which could be the vocal point of this design, and there’s a picture right behind it with someone surfing and if you look at it closely the background works with the letter “C” which makes the letter “D.”
Discuss the use of typography using the various classifications (Serif, Sans Serif, Scripts, Novelty).
The is “C” or “D” is Sans Serif and so are the words in the person T-Shirt. The “C” has a lot of weight to it, it’s in bold and it’s in the center of the poster.
The text on the person T-Shirt has lots of variation as some words are wide, while some aren’t, some words are also bigger while some aren’t, however every type is in Sans Serif.
