Respond to the questions below and define a Learning Plan based on the course learning objectives and your personal learning goals. Take a moment to review the course Grading Policy before completing your Learning Plan.

As a group, we will look at the formative theories of design to help us better understand how and why design works or doesn’t work within historical, cultural, and social contexts. When we look at philosophical, ethical, political, and aesthetic questions in the field of design, our ability to think creatively and critically expands. You will begin to see how your aesthetic influences connect to historical lineages in the design field and why your voice is important to the future of the communication design field.

We will also aim to improve our writing, speaking, listening, and noticing skills to spark creativity, find inspiration, and become better designers.
