Materials 1

WHAT you need to bring to class every day:

  1. Pens/pencilsĀ 
  2. A minimum of one notebook (that is dedicated to this class, only)
  3. A folder in which to keep loose papers, handouts, readings, and other materials
  4. Note: Your smartphone may occasionally be used for class activities with teacher approval. If its use has not been approved, you MUST NOT USE IT OR VIEW IT DURING CLASS.

Materials 2: Electronic et al

WHAT you need to obtain or have available for this course, this semester:

  1. Access to GoogleDrive and the ability to create GoogleDocs
  2. Access to a computer and printerĀ 
  3. Access to and familiarity with Zoom (via a device with a camera and a microphone) so that you can meet on Zoom Online for Office Hours, et al.

You must also be able to access our OpenLab course site; you must JOIN it as a Member.

Books and Other Reading MaterialsĀ 

The majority of the required readings for this class will be supplied to you, free of charge. You will be able to find them on our COURSE READINGS page on our OpenLab website or supplied directly from the Instructor.Ā 

In particular, the Instructor may recommend a couple of personal readings for you to purchase during the course of the semester (a book, newspaper, magazineā€¦). These will be announced later, as they will be based on your interests and the Instructorā€™s assessment of your needs.
