Due to COVID many of us were stuck home for over a year with nothing to do. It was a very difficult moment being that not many of us were fortunate to have a backyard and exercise. Technology became a huge role during this period including me, I played sports boxing and played soccer. I honestly didn’t have much time in my hands being that I had a busy schedule school than training. When COVID hit hard it was unexpected I had to stop going to the gym and the field it was a scary moment seeing everyone with mask and gloves this is where technology became a huge problem in my life I started to play much more video games than the usual being on social media than what I normally would be honest I even had to get glasses. As soon as things started to open I was excited but it was some sort of weird excitement that I had. I don’t know how to describe it to this day. I don’t go out much unless it’s to the grocery store or work. Sports were thrown out of the picture. I gained a lot of weight and gaming became something I like. Technology is much more powerful than we think it can take over our very damaging mind. Giving us that illusion of being somewhere or doing something can make us do stupid things. For example, in school shootings, it’s proven that many play shooting games who don’t want to own an M-16 or a rifle but carry it around and shoot innocent people? What sense does that make?

As we speak on Technology improving every single day these products and machines are not made on their own there are humans manufacturing these things. Without human brains, many of these things would not exist although we see that companies don’t need human labor these machines are working for them and replacing them.
I truly believe that a machine can substitute human labor when it can produce more than the worker for the same cost or as much as the worker for a fraction of the price. likely to occur when a worker’s tasks are routines when the instructions for the tasks can be translated into code for a computer to carry out. automation is more able to replace workers in simplified, controlled environments. While computers can perform the most complex calculations in milliseconds, it is much more difficult to get a machine to write novels or care for children as effectively as humans do. How will humans survive if they are jobless? Unless you’re an inventor then you can contribute in some way to make these machines. Fast food places have screens where you can order instead of speaking to a worker, many supermarkets have self-checkout. We can see that technology is slowly taking over our lives and jobs. We could work for machines may be decades from now if we don’t experience that maybe our kids will.
