Topic: My personal experience with education as a kid in New York City.
Thesis: The education system is different in all places across the world, and kids all around in their own way has gone through some difficulty throughout the span of their educational career. With me i was always confused on how the education system worked, and had questions about the DOE and also the point of school. I’ve always had doubts on school but I knew for my parents school was the #1 most important thing you can succeed in, especially since my parents never went to college.

Topic sentence: Going to school, doing homework, etc was never a problem with me, but finding out what’s my purpose in and out of school is what really gave me problems throughout my educational career.
Point: In middle school all across the US there should be a class or two that teaches kids real world things, stuff that comes after college.
Illustration: Throughout my middle school days i was very into drawing. So at that day and age i knew i wanted to do something that requires drawing as a career. In class ill spend most of my time drawing anything on the blank spaces of my assignments, sometimes ill create my own characters I was a very creative kid. The problem was that I had no subject for art only the basic science, math, ELA, even health. School never gave access to an art class that me and many others would have really enjoyed and helped us in the long term.
