I think the author meant when he said ” you are already an author ” that any person can create a book, write an article or column in his/her own unique way. As a teenager i use to write random lyrics trying to make them rhyme to instrumental beats. In essence i was creating ” free-styles ” then recording them inside of a studio. i once created an album with some of my close friends. I really enjoyed writing because it was a release for me from a stressful or challenging day. Even until this very day i still write some for the therapy benefits. My experience with writing music will help me in my english course in that my creativity and savviness will shine in my work. What i noticed in the article is that the author was descriptive and detailed. I would like to incorporate those attributes into my writing because it would add intrigue and the reader would be able to visualize whats being written. As i was reading the article, i wrote down some notes and questions. One of my questions was, why was the fire safety laws outdated when the show LES MESERABLES was doing so well at the palace theatre. One note i wrote down was that the staff wasn’t properly trained for an emergency.
