LiveWell, session 3

I am still on  the active and maintanance stages after 3d session. I just was  a  little less confident to exercise if I am tired or do not have.However, the  advices given about  what to do at this situations, like doing crunches, push-ups or stretching, were exactly the same like I do usually. My eating habits got a little worse since the  last session, but I do not worry, because I know the reason. When I am in stress, I eat a lot and unhealthy. When  the last stressful weeks of the semestr  finish, I will start eat healthy again. It happen with me repeatedly while I am in school.

Live Well, Session 2

Even though I am in Action and Maintenance phase, after session 2, I have to be honest, I gained weight while the winter season. I need workout to lose pounds that I gained. I prefer jogging and exercising   in the park next to my house. Working all day in the musk, I feel luck of oxygen, so I need more fresh air. Also, in the summer time every Sunday I rent a bicycle, and make a ride around Central Park. These ridings are charging me with the positive emotions and energy for the next working week. I cannot complain on my eating habits, because I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, fish and grains. I just need to stop to eat ice cream and candies, which I used to eat to manage my stress.

 

Active Minds

Active Minds is a supportive organization called to help the students to deal with their mental problems. In nowadays, mental health issues in college student population are very serious problem, which has to be considered. I think, the young people need to know that they are not alone with their problems. The information about counseling services will help them to feel protected. The scared statistics about 80-90% deaths by suicide among college students are not receiving help from their colleges counseling centers, prove the facts that the existence the organizations like Active Minds is very actual and necessary.

Livewell 1st session

After the first session, I was placed on the maintenance stage in the active phase. It was not surprise to me, because I try to live in a healthy way being active. However, sometimes in order to relieve the stress in my busy schedule, I allow myself to be lazy, eat sweets and cookies, or even to eat junk food. I believe that we do not have to refuse from the brining us pleasure things. We just need to understand that in all our actions have to be a balance and willpower, helping us to maintain this balance. Otherwise, we will have even more stress refusing from our favorite things. For example, I like ice cream, and I do not want to refuse to eat ice cream on the weekends while watching my favorite TV show. Also, I try to listen to my body, and do not force myself go to the gym after busy working day. If I feel that I want to sleep, I just take a nap and relax.
