My major is Computer Systems Technology (IT Operations track). I’ve been interested in computer science for as far as I can remember. I’ve always been fascinated and enjoyed using, troubleshooting, and building computers, configuring systems, and learning how they work and I can consider it one of, if not, my first love. I am a big sports fan and support most of the NYC teams (Yankees, Knicks, Rangers, NYCFC, among others) as well as an avid gamer.
After I graduate I am hoping to obtain an entry-level position doing System Administration, most likely in a Windows (Active Directory/SCCM)/VMware environment. Long-term, I would probably like to be a senior SysAdmin for a company I love. I also want to travel and visit a lot of the continental US. I hope to gain a new way of thinking and understanding elementary coding and programming.
Very cool, I’ve been interested/fascinated in computer builds too, but I never got into it as much as I would have wanted.
