The mission of the Department of Construction Management and Civil Engineering
Technology at New York City College of Technology is to educate our students for careers in the fields of Construction Management and Civil Engineering Technology. Through excellence in teaching and community service, the department promotes opportunities for scholarly, personal, and professional growth. We value and will continue our long tradition of educating
non-traditional students of diverse backgrounds for successful entry into the workforce.

The department is committed to maintaining a diverse faculty of Professional Engineers,
Architects and Construction Managers thus enabling our graduates to be well prepared to
support the diverse needs of the City of New York.
