(Dave has just returned from basic training on his journey to be an airman in the air force, he’s texted the group chat to inform us that he has succeeded and its on to the next step.)
Dave: Heyyy!! I’m back
A: From where, basic training?
A: So your officially an Airman?
(A reply’s with big smile on her face behind the screen.)
Dave: lmaoo, yes I’m an airman!
(Dave tried college but it wasn’t for him, so he decided to join the Airforce.)
A: Congratulations my brother (heart emoji)
Dave: Thank you .
(Dave sends pictures of his graduation from boot camp and expresses that he recieved a marksman ribbon for sharp shooting)
A: Wow. I’m really proud of you.
Dave: Thanks again. I cant wait to get back to nyc to see you and everyone else.
(Dave and A haven’t seen each other in awhile so this is long over due.)
