It was a beautiful Friday afternoon, Tony thought to himself. The time was approximately 5:40pm and Tony was on a bus ride home from visiting his aunt and talking about life. He was constantly switching between his notepad, which had various notes on different stocks, and his phone, which had his entire life on it. He had taken the time to invest some of his savings into the stock market, hoping to make his dreams of being a rich stock broker come true. He was jotting down notes on what he had seen during his amateur day-trading. He saw that certain large hedge fund companies were shorting other companies on the stock market, betting that they would fail so the hedge funds would make a profit. Tony starts jotting down his thoughts on what stocks to buy and hold, which to sell. He then puts his notebook away and pulls out his phone. He looks over curiously to the woman sleeping on his left and looks back at his phone. He logs into his brokerage account to see what kind of profits he made, looking at which stocks were bullish or bearish. Tony smiles a bit because he sees that he made a small profit, this gives him a boost of motivation. He then looks up and notices that his bus stop is coming up. Tony rings the bell, packs up his stuff and heads home to do more research on his favorite hobby, the stock market.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
