Short stories were fun to do. I had no problem doing them. They let me be as creative as possible. The prompts are writing that was asked for was not limiting. It felt like a free writing assignment where we could do anything we want. This follows the class’s title of creative writing. I liked the assignment as it allowed for us to write something bigger than before and help create a clearer beginnning, middle, and end. I did feel my second story which was to focus on settings was confused with flipping the setting on one of our previous stories. Overall flipping the story’s settings, in turn, changed certain details from the original story helped create a completely different story.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
