Johar Martinez, Coates’ Critique

This was certainly an odd and confusing read. It wasn’t until a reread of the chapter that I began to notice the details I had missed. I enjoyed the descriptive nature of the story for this fact entirely. Whether it was because I wasn’t open-mined while reading the passage or it was too early in the morning and taking things at face value I can appreciate the chapter for what it is and can only simply ask, where will the story go from here?

I agree, it was difficult to understand and I had to reread some paragraphs to understand what was going on. I do want to know what happens next after this chapter.

I agree that in the story there was a lot going and because there were many characters in the story and very small details were given, that the good point but too much information.
