What I find good about writing poetry is that you can speak about many good things in life and turn it into a topic. Whichever topic you choose to write about can be very descriptive or can give a deep meaning to the readers. What I find bad about writing poems is writing it and coming up with a topic. Poems were never my strong suit to perform, I would find them confusing or difficult to understand. What I do like from time to time is hearing good comments about what I write. I thought those comments were good because it gave me hope for continuing to do poetry for others. I personally do not find myself to be good at writing poems, but just the thought of someone liking what I wrote feels good.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
