A moment that has changed me from my past is when I had a huge falling out with someone I once called my best friend. It was back in 2018, we were both getting ready to graduate high school. A lot of drama had happened between her and her family and for some reason I was dragged into it because of her. Although we were not that young and knew about the ā€œadult problemsā€ going on, I knew I had no business being in drama that was not related to me nor did I want to be a part of it by any means. Day after day my name was being thrown around by everyone for things I never did. Not getting into too much details, I found out soon after that my so called best friend was telling my personal business to her family sprinkled with lies for years. This was the friend I first had since we were in diapers and had built a friendship with for almost 18 years, to find out that she had been telling lies about me the whole time was insane. This whole incident has made me extremely cautious with who I call my friend and it has showed me that anyone is capable of doing anything, good or bad.Ā
