A time where my perspective has changed was during quarantine. I know this is a common topic and everyone changed for the better or worse but it did make me realize that alone time isn’t that bad. Seeing people in person was not the best option for everyone’s safety. I went on walks around the park or riverside just to empty out thoughts and relax. If someone would’ve told me to go outside without company 3 years ago I would’ve said no until someone came with me. I wouldn’t say I’m that much of an anxious person but I used to not like going into stores alone or just walking around without someone by my side. But now I’ve changed for the better. Going out alone just gives you time to observe and enjoy your own company. Of course, having someone with me once in a while is exciting as well. Sometimes too much along time isn’t good either. There should be a balance between time with yourself and time with others.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
