I would say one of the moments that really changed and shaped the person who I am today happened back in 2007. I was in 9th grade and I was extremely shy, like you would never find me bringing any attention to myself. I was in my last year of junior high school and was given the opportunity to join performing arts which would have me attending the high school down the block for half of the day. During this program I took dance classes, singing and acting and also learned how to operate sound and lighting boards. It was during this program over the next four years that I began to grow outside of my comfort zone. I began to find a singing voice that I always knew I had but never used outside of church and definitely not around my peers. I began acting in various school productions in which I was cast as the lead 2 years in a row, and I also found my love of lighting which will now be my major once I graduate and the end of this semester. So yea, 2007 definitely was the start of a big change in my life and shaped my passions to this day.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
