Jeffrey Tang, POV Story for Picture C

BUMP

Irritation grew across the man’s face. Why draw on a bus again?

The answer was simple: Time doesn’t come easily

If he didn’t draw now, when would he be able to? Tomorrow? The next day? Who knows when the next chance would come around to finish a drawing.

The drawing started again.

BUMP

To some people, this would be called… torture?

Erase, draw, again, erase, draw, again.

Stuck in a seat, attempting to draw the same thing, snoring droning on in the next seat.

He glanced at the window to see where the bus was.

The landscape looked nice, but it starts to blend together after seeing it so many times.

BUMP

He should’ve probably brought something else, a game maybe?

It’d definitely be less tedious than effectively drawing nothing.

BUMP

Did that bump come sooner than usual?

He was fed up, and went to the front of the bus.

“Please sir, just sit do-“

“No no, I really have to do this”

The bus door opened. The familiar landscape stood outside.

An Italian dressed in red popped out of a mysterious box.

“Just DODGE, I can’t get anywhere if you keep loading saves!”

    I liked your short story.

Question: did the picture had quotes in it or was that also made up?

    • Jeffrey

      Also made up

I loved this story! The process of trial and error, I feel like you captured it great here. It’s also something I feel as if a lot of people can relate to. They want to do something but they don’t have anytime to do it. So, to save time they do whatever they have to do their commute. For instance, this guy had no time to draw at home so he’s drawing on the bus.
