This story was more enjoyable than past work. I really like the normal sounding story with the twist at the end. It reminded me of some books in the Goosebumps series that I use to read in elementary school. I remember one book where it was about a kid with an invisible friend. Then it turned out that the invisible friend was humans and humans were normally kept in zoos. Along with a great story there was an even greater ending. I’m not sure if I have any serious critiques for Guin.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Iāll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the endāsince I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times donāt work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means youāll have to schedule an appointment in advance. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!

I AGREE, I remember reading those Goosebumps books in elementary. My favorite was the one with the halloween scene and I feel that there is some level of comparison with Le Guin’s work.
agree on how descriptive the story was and it shows perspective. I enjoyed the big plot twist when the āhusbandā was actually a wolf.
