If I really had to think about it, the last time I wrote a memoir was probably in elementary school. It’s not that I don’t like writing memoirs, it’s more of the fact that my past English classes haven’t required it. Writing these memoirs has been an amazing experience because it has allowed me to reminisce about memories I had forgotten or memories I don’t usually think about on a regular basis. I also enjoy memoir writing because there’s a sense of relaxation that comes when writing them because there is no right or wrong answer, so there’s no pressure other than remembering and writing.
