Writing memoirs was a different experience than writing any other piece. It made me really brainstorm ideas and even asking those around me for their suggestions. Memoirs made me think in detail and remember past events or current events happening in my life. I’d say this experience in writing memoirs was okay just because I don’t have a good memory. I had a little trouble writing the first memoir because I couldn’t think of anything to write about. It challenged me to think about what was important to me. But after the first one, I mildly got the hang of it and started thinking of more ideas. I always forget things unintentionally but otherwise, it did make me think about my writing and make it more interesting.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
