I enjoyed this chapter of Truth & Beauty because the narrator was very descriptive and even the minor details were elusive. This demonstrates the speakers needs and thought process even in the beginning of the chapter when the author speaks about her travels and I enjoyed the authors descriptive nature because it allowed me to visualize and picture in my head everything that is going on. This was a great chapter, however I feel like the author dragged the details and could’ve jumped right to the point. The author speaks about Ann’s relationship with Lucy and how Lucy ignores Ann at school but then they become close after they started living together. This makes me think “Why was Ann so excited to be friends with Lucy?”

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
