Gurba’s story is a very touching one. As it deals with a certain race, and topics that many people are not comfortable to talk about. The language and the overall story had me very interested and on my feet since it was very entertaining. THe harsh language and the overall mood really connects with the story. I liked how she uses her past to connect with who she is right now and the things that she has experienced as a child and while she was in Mexico. It also sheds light into the problems in Mexico and how the people over there are also just human beings and it doesn’t seem as bad as the media portrays it is.
