My experience with short story writing is so-so. The last time I did short story writing, was back in high school. I wrote a mystery based on three real life women. After that, besides writing a gratitude journal since last year, I never wrote a short story for myself because I’m not so creative when it comes to writing fictional stories. I never write short stories for myself because I worry about my creativity, I focus on real life nonfiction stuff a lot like history, I get pessimistic about what’s going on in real life and I don’t have so much inspiration to write them, until this semester. I’m usually a perfectionist when it comes to being creative and structure matters to me when writing.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 1 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
