This story for me was a little difficult because Anonymous didn’t hold back as to what the things she was going through with her husband. I couldn’t relate because I’m not married nor have been in a relationship to that degree, but as a writer I was truly impacted. I feel as though it was hard to see how she described how her silence was what mattered more than her freedom. I think that her being able to step out and show the world through her writing the inside of what abused women must go through is what makes her a strong person overall and a strong writer. Therefore, I enjoyed reading this.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 1 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
