What I enjoyed about chapter one was the description of characters in the story when the author explained Lucy back story including that everyone knew her reputation for being smart. She gives us a peek into the back story but still makes us think about who Lucy character is. Even the way she included the accident adding more details to about her past. It makes the reader think more into who the characters are and how their back stories play apart in the behavior and lives now. Are the other chapters going to focus on Lucy more? Is this based on a true story? And another question I just want clarification on is Are they both struggling writers?

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 1 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
