Dialogue writing has been super funny. I actually hate texting so the fact that our first assignment was to go through our texts, I knew there would be some diamonds in the rough. I am extremely sarcastic over text. My friends and I have the same sense of humor so the sarcasm definitely wins. We make jokes, and social media and its trends have made it even easier to keep up our humor. Other than that I have enjoyed dialogue writing. Especially using stage directions, and being a narrator to my own conversation. I feel it gives insight to the person, and the dialogue is portrayed exactly how it should be. You are able to give the exact effect you want. Which, when writing can be very difficult. Also if it weren’t for this class I probably never would’ve even explored this type of writing

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 1 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
