when it comes to short story writing, I would have to say that my experience would be mid. The reason why I say my experience is mid is that it is similar to essay writing which is something that I am comfortable with doing, but since it is still short I do feel like there are some details that have to be left out because of the length of a short story that I would really like to include because it could make or break a story based on the reader and their experience reading my short story. another thing that I would say makes my experience mid would be that I’m not really the best at telling stories, which is also something that you could say is why I’m not good at doing poetry because they both include the element of telling some type of story, I’m more of a factual-based person that can explain things to the best of my knowledge, but when it comes to the creative skills of coming up with a story, I am still somewhat lacking.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 1 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
