I liked how the author mixed humor with an issue she has with western literature. She mentions the stereotypes about Mexican people that they aren’t educated. As she mentioned white people were surprised when she mentioned that her grandfather worked as a publicist, I’m assuming that they believed there weren’t developed jobs in Mexico.
