As a Hispanic, I had a blast reading this. Her humor and Spanglish going around made it funny. I am glad I understand her sense of humor and anger. Gurbas style of writing is something I got to read for the first time. She does well to show her frustration, which I don’t blame her, towards the white privilege. In her ongoing review on Cummins was straight going at her which made it 10x funny and entertaining to read. Overall, I like that she made sure to speak up for my people. I don’t find it okay for an author like Cummins to publicize her book which carries stereotypes and making money off it.
