There is laws that prohibit child marriage, even in those countries where child marriage is still practiced. However, there has to be more information and education within the community. I believe that a poster that contains photos of actual girls that have suffered and short messages will reach the viewers. I believe that images have a bigger impact than just writing, especially if the images show the suffering of those children. With this method I try to compel parents to stop marrying out their kids at an early age. Also, Governments to invest more time and money on educating their children to give better opportunities to girls. I believe that because education is very limited in these countries, images will be easier to interpret for those who do not know how to read.

Office Hours: 1 to 2 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation through email each week. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If the above times don’t work for you, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email.
