I have chosen a graphic essay for presenting my information until I feel like something else is a better option. I feel that this genre is appropriate and effective because it will be catching to the eye and people will be intrigued to know more after seeing the illustrations. Also, no matter what the topic is, in my opinion, visuals arise more raw emotions than a standard writing piece cannot. With my piece, I hope to inform and probably persuade people to do more about an important issue which I have not decided just yet. 

I plan on making my piece no too lengthy, just about 3 – 4 pages. The tone I’m going for is informative and persuasive. The desired effect is hopeful they feel a bit more enlightened and deeply about the issues as much as I do. As far as composing my piece stand I’m leaning towards using photoshop to make illustrations and work on the written part as well.
