The usage of multimodal texts was more viable in the situations being used was to show the emotion in the scene. In the graphic novel scene from March, you can visibly see a man crying, whereas if it was written in the text then read, there would be less emotion conveyed unless well written. In the page from Maus, there is a lot of emotion shown in it, the sadness, the desperation, there is literally a gun being shoved into another person’s mouth, as can be seen as the mouse are a representation of people. In the movie trailer, the emotion was very well conveyed, the desperation was shown well.

I have never worked on a multimodal piece. These are extremely new to me from a work perspective. But I have consumed a lot of multimodal forms of entertainment. Such as mangas, light novels, animation, forms of written entertainment in other forms besides written only. If anything it is my preferred method of consuming entertainment because it feels a lot more authentic and immersive.
