The authors use multimodal text as opposed to other types of traditional novel or essays because these forms communicate information to single audiences. However, multimodal texts relays information and messages in multiple ways . First one being the visual form that makes the message more live and understanding . It helps the message become reality and sensational , therefore it has a bigger impact and captualizes the viewer .Because it is sensational it compels people to sympathize with the message . The second form of the message being conveyed to the viewer is by written language. which includes short stories that complement the images. Additionally, the spatial mode which provides organization of objects and by this creating motion. Moreover, audio which is the voices, rhythms etc. Finally, gestures which include final expressions and body language. When these are combined it creates meaning to the messages. I believe that the authors use this form of writing because they can captivate different people such as young people and old people.
