I think Aydin, Spiegleman, and Satrapi decided to inform readers about these important, historical events using multimodal texts (graphic novels and film) rather than writing traditional novels or historical essays because not a lot of people back them knew how to read and showing it in graphic novels and films is more easier. When you see a picture, you can quite understand what is happening and understand the message and put two and two together. With traditional novels and films you have to read and see through it all to get a better understanding. 

I have never worked on a multimodal piece. I am excited to work on something new that I have not done before and one thing I am worried about is executing it but with research I will be more comfortable. I hope that I do a great job.
